Workflow or webform preview shows an Oops error
Last updated 29 April 2026
Occasionally the preview screen for a workflow or webform shows an Oops error instead of the expected page. It usually clears with a refresh or a small change to the setup, but sometimes it points at something we need to look at on our side.
Try these first
- Refresh the page. Many transient preview errors clear on a hard refresh (Ctrl + F5 / Cmd + Shift + R).
- Re-save the workflow or webform. Open the workflow or webform you were previewing, make sure all required fields are filled in, and click Save. Then try the preview again.
- Check it in a different browser — if it works in Chrome but not Edge (or vice-versa), it's likely a browser cache issue. See Supported browsers and devices.
- Sign out and back in. A stale session can sometimes leave the preview in a bad state.
Still seeing it?
If the Oops error persists after the steps above, it's something we need to look at. Email support@moneyalive.co.uk with:
- A screenshot of the Oops screen (full window, including the URL).
- The name of the workflow or webform you were previewing.
- The browser and device you're using (e.g. "Chrome on Windows 11").
- The steps you took just before the error appeared.
The team will check the platform logs against your account and reply with a fix or a workaround.
