Set a client journey outcome

Outcomes record what happened after a viewer finished a journey — whether they progressed to advice, opted out, or are still being followed up. They feed into reporting so you can see how journeys convert.

Walkthrough

Steps

  1. Open the viewer's journey from the dashboard or their profile.
  2. Click Outcome.
  3. Choose the outcome that best matches the result — see the table below.
  4. Save. The outcome is stored against the journey and appears in the clients report and analytics.

Outcome options

Outcome When to use it What it sets
In progress The viewer is still working through follow-up. Marks the journey as open for reporting.
Proceeded The viewer moved on to advice or the next step you offer. Counts as a successful conversion in analytics.
Did not proceed The viewer chose not to continue. Closes the journey and excludes it from active follow-up.
Other Anything that doesn't fit the standard options. Closes the journey; use the notes field to record detail.
