Set a client journey outcome

Outcomes record what happened after a viewer finished a journey — whether they progressed to advice, opted out, or are still being followed up. They feed into reporting so you can see how journeys convert.

Steps
- Open the viewer's journey from the dashboard or their profile.
- Click Outcome.
- Choose the outcome that best matches the result — see the table below.
- Save. The outcome is stored against the journey and appears in the clients report and analytics.
Outcome options
| Outcome | When to use it | What it sets |
|---|---|---|
| In progress | The viewer is still working through follow-up. | Marks the journey as open for reporting. |
| Proceeded | The viewer moved on to advice or the next step you offer. | Counts as a successful conversion in analytics. |
| Did not proceed | The viewer chose not to continue. | Closes the journey and excludes it from active follow-up. |
| Other | Anything that doesn't fit the standard options. | Closes the journey; use the notes field to record detail. |
